New GPS Lap Timer from Aim
Tuesday, 06 September 2011 15:01

Aim have released a new GPS lap timer that removes hassle from data logging and viewing your lap times.   It's quite a nifty piece of kit, and comes with tracks all over the world pre-installed, so you don't need to do any set up work at all.  Just arrive at the track and driver, the Solo knows where you are and where the start finish line is.

The solo GPS laptimer can easily be plugged into your cigarette socket, and that's it, away you go!

Analysing data is easy, download and use the regular Aim analysis software

Mytach Tested at PFi and Whilton

I can't beleive this watch can do everything a Mychron 4 with GPS can do....  well almost except the Mytach doesn't log your RPM, but since everyone already has a Mychron or Alfano, then it doesn't  matter all that much.  If all you want to do is in depth analysis of your driving, including braking points, apex points, exit speeds and apex speed, this this Mytach handles it easily.  Best of all it is way cheaper than regular data systems.
